Blood is
fluid that helps transport essential substrates to different parts of body.
Your blood
group is defined by the structure of protein or antigen present on RBC (red
blood cells)
Blood group
A - antigen A
Blood group
AB - antigen A and B both
Blood group
O - no antigen
Instead of
this we also have one more kind of protein or antigen on RBC which decides if
the blood group is positive or negative that is D antigen
Blood groups
like A +ve, B+ve, AB+ve and O+ve are Rh+ve because they have D antigen on RBC
surface where as RBC with no such antigen are known as Rh-ve which include
blood groups A-ve, B-ve, AB-ve and O-ve.
Accordingly
our immune system that is defense mechanism of our body hav several type of
antibody's which treat blood groups
except self group as foreign particle and tyres to destroy it by clotting it.
For eg:-
Blood group
A has antibody B that means if any how blood group B or AB is transferd to
blood group A it will clot B or AB blood group
Similarly
B blood
group clot A and AB group
And as AB
blood group has no antigen it will not clot any blood group thus it is an
universal acceptor whereas blood group O has both antibody's A and B this will
clot all the blood groups thus it I universal donor.
Based on
this you need to choose your life partner correctly because life partner with
wrong blood group can drag your baby towards death.
So you need
to be very careful about this and rather than matching a kundali you should
match your blood report.
There is no
harm in choosing a life partner with A, B, AB or O blood group but the issue is
actually with the Rh factor.
If a girl
with Rh -ve blood that is A-ve, B -ve, AB -ve or O -ve gets married to a boy
with Rh+ve blood that is A+ve, B+ve, AB+ve or O+ve blood then most probably the
first child is to acquire Rh+ve group although the blood of mother and foetus
never mixes up because the foetus is in a bag like structure called placenta
but during delivery while cutting an umbilical cord some blood of baby present
in the cord rushes back in the mother's body and her body immune system
develops anybody IGg against foetus blood that is Rh+ve blood which can
penetrate placenta.
Now when the
mother will convince second time her body already have antibody IGg. This
antibody IGg will penetrate into placenta and will clot the blood of foetus
that mean the second child will get miscarriage or will be born fatal
This is the
reason why you should choose correct life partner for you that to after
matching your blood report.
Now, those
who are already married might be thinking is there any other way out to avoid
this.
Yes there is
other way also which is very simple than getting your blood reports matched.
That is an
injection that is given within 72 hours of first delivery that prevent the
formation of IGg antibody in mother's blood.
