A man learns
from its surrounding, by watching, listening and interacting. Each experience
gives an opportunity to learn values. Movies of various sorts like comedies,
war, fiction, action, drama and documentary are liked by different group of
viewers. Normally, the movies are formed with various characters to communicate
a theme to the viewers and the viewers experience their life as demonstrated in
movies by wearing the shoes of characters. They enjoy the scenes with laughing
or being emotional with full or partial attention. An Indian Saint Gurmeet Ram
Rahim Singh started to analyse the pros and cons of watching movies and finds
that the movies are a source of entertainment with competency to transform
mindsets of people by providing them ability to recreate and imagine according
to their work environment. In order to transform societies with good values to
make them proceed with positive
attitude, it is felt to project movies with
inspirational content even spirituality. After having observations from countries
leading in film production like United States, Nigeria, Hong-Kong and India;
ideas are explored to direct and produce movies to kill negative thoughts
coming with vulgar speeches used in movies. The saint tries to cut nudity with
morality and violence with positive inspiration. At par with modernity in
culture where people are moving fast to use gadgets including smart mobiles,
laptops, tablets for completing their work with spending minimum time. They
have no time to take care of even their health with physical exercises and
meditation. The stress releasing exercises are used only when people have no
way to tackle mental disorders. On the basis of observations after taking into
mind that kids and youth is more interested in watching movies of action,
comedy, and drama while old-aged people prefer to watch movies demonstrating
moral and ethical values in life; a blend of each area is used in MSG: The
Messenger released on 13th February 2015. Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh
composed and sang all songs, also worked as lyricist, script writer,
cinematographer and editor; he becomes successful in passing spirituality and
humanity even after lots of negative reviews from critics. Further, a sequel of
MSG: The Messenger that is MSG-2: The Messenger is released on 18th September
2015. In both movies, it is tried to eradicate social evils including drugs and
alcohol ("Daru Ko Goli Maro") , genderrelated issues ("Papa The
Great"), prostitution and promote spirituality ("Ram Ram", "Never
Ever", "Rataan Bataan” and “Sapnon Mein Aana Tera”) and humanitarian
deeds like plantation, donation to poors etc.
It is well considered that the
movies areer and also succeeded in changing the mind-set of viewers by filling with positivity. Times come w a common platform for bringing together all genres of people even if
they have different views or perspectives about each scene of the movie. The
spirituality and humanity related theme or message is well perceived by visual
experience by the viewers in Cinemas and PVRs. It is proved that movies can be
used as a tool to inspire people to motivate for good habits and leaving their vices.
In earlier times, the victory of good over evil, commitment to never give up,
and art of handling emotions were few demonstrations being used in stories to
make entire movie interesting. Then time comes when the characters of movie
started to pretend facing real-life situations with brave heart. The movies
with demonstrating positive thoughts like Jagriti, Taare Zameen Par, Three
Idiots ruled the hearts of viewhen the film-stars are
looked as a source of inspiration with an image either of a hero or a villain.
But in 21st century, the film industry started to produce movies with
professing violence resulting kids and teenagers adopt wrong path to get short-cut
for temporary success.
The viewers are heavily influenced whatever adult or
vulgar content is being framed by the film producers. The youth is being
tortured to misuse their talent for earning money by adopting unethical means.
Movies like Hostel, Saw, Friday The 13th, are full of violence including
unnecessary blood and gore. An investigation reports that kids and youth
exposed to violent shows, were exposed to much more likely to later be
convicted of crime. It is found that the youth is not mature enough to
understand negative motives of movies and started to flow with the negative
waves with spoiling their whole life. In order to get maximum crowd and earning
profits, film producers and directors are using actors and actresses with
wearing minimum clothes and perform adult scenes with vulgar speech. The
celebrities are also using nudity and explicit sexual acts as a stair to get
success. Movies like Jism-2, Dirty Picture are a few examples of it. In such
scenario, it had become must that anyone comes with the reversal of such
dirtiness and it is done successfully by spiritual Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim. The
Saint has already shared that next movie i.e. “Lionheart-MSG The Warrior” will
be Hollywood-styled movie, based on the story of a warrior who fights for the
respect and dignity of women and fosters the values of chivalry in society.
Further, he is also coming up with “MSG Online Gurukul” to unveil the secrets
of universe. The movies are getting overwhelming response and clearly state
that the era of spirituality in movies has been started successfully.
